I was over at the website of snapstream.com, a site with great software to turn a Windows computer with one or multiple TV cards into a PVR. One online app they have which is pretty cool, IMO is something they call TV Trends, check it out here This looks like another great tool to help bloggers do research (on American T.V. anyways)
