I expect that it should be interesting to see how the dynamics play out in the house. Given that Barak Obama has announced his intentions to provide even deeper tax cuts than those proposed by outgoing President George Bush, I wonder if those on the oposition side of the house will criticize the Prime Minister as being an American lackey if he implements the same policies?
Just asking.

I expect a couple of good things to come out of Obama's visit to Canada. When he tells Mr. Harper that he is pulling all the auto jobs back to the states to ease his unemployment situation that will mean we don't have to hand over any more taxpayer money to the Detroit three. Also, when he tells us he doesn't want our "dirty" oil we, in the west, will have another boom time as we build a pipeline across the Rockies to a new terminal in B.C. to ship oil from the new plant the Chinese will build. They've got lots of money to finance it.
